Founded in 2012, Soap Aid is a response to the large volumes of discarded hotel soap being thrown into local landfills each year. The environmental impact of this waste, combined with the growing crisis in childhood hygiene-related deaths, called for a local solution.

Soap Aid reprocesses and delivers recycled guest soap to disadvantaged communities in Australia and overseas, improving health outcomes in Australian indigenous communities and throughout the world. This perfectly complements Heartful's commitment to sustainable accommodation practices.
