    About Blue Barn Nornalup

Tucked away on 58 acres of pristine coastal conservation land, Blue Barn Nornalup offers a true off-grid escape where nature takes center stage. Located along the gravel track to Blue Holes—a paradise for fishing and surfing enthusiasts—this peaceful retreat invites you to unplug and slow down.

Home to a lively crew of friendly animals, including chickens, roosters, cats Mingus and Herbie, Uisce the calf, Lambikins the sheep, and dogs Fang and Tilly, the barn is a light-filled, spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom haven. Here, the only sounds you’ll hear are the rustling trees, birdsong, and the distant roar of the ocean at night. Tilly, the Maremma, might let out a protective bark if predators are near, and Uisce the calf will happily moo when it’s time for her next meal.

Upstairs, the balcony is perfectly positioned for year-round sunset views, while the night sky—free from city lights—puts on a spectacular star-filled display. The fresh sea breeze keeps the air crisp, so be sure to pack a jumper for cooler evenings. Inside, the barn is filled with unique artwork, from abstract pieces to charcoal life drawings, adding to its creative and cozy charm.

This is a true off-grid experience, meaning you'll be surrounded by the raw beauty of nature—including native wildlife, insects, the occasional dusting of hay, and the rustic quirks that come with rural living. If you’re ready to embrace the simplicity and magic of this hidden coastal gem, I’d love to welcome you for a stay.
