Blue Gum is a gorgeous Aussie retreat equipped with everything you will need to enjoy a stress-free holiday. Whether it is just you, your partner or a family group, Blue Gum provides a restful and eco-friendly experience that you will want to return to time and time again. Set well back off a quiet no-through road, just a few minutes from very popular Adventure Bay esplanade and beach, this is an ideal location with favourite swimming spots, 'Quiet Corner' and 'Two Tree Point' within easy walking distance. The sound of the ocean waves can be heard from this property and the perfectly positioned home enjoys water and mountain views. The stunning ocean views can be enjoyed from the generous 3m wide undercover timber veranda which has been newly installed. This spans the length of the house including the back, and is perfect for entertaining. Glass sliders enter to a welcoming, light open plan living/dining with raked ceilings and the water vista can also be seen from this living space as well as two of the three bedrooms. A newly installed indoor fireplace provides a cosy, relaxing experience inside on chillier nights. A custom designed kitchen has solid Tasmanian Oak joinery with plenty of storage and bench space. Inclusions here are a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/stovetop, DeLonghi coffee maker, pods, T2 tea, kettle and all of your kitchen needs to cook your own food. The bedrooms are set in neutral tones with lamps on either side in the two queen bedrooms. The third bedroom has a bunk with a double underneath and a single on top. Other inclusions are quality curtains, a reverse cycle air-conditioner and instant gas hot water. A laundry with washing machine and dryer is available for your convenience. There are numerous entertaining options including a paved area at the back that includes a fire heater and a table, plus a deck with a BBQ, firepit and large table for al-fresco dining, or you can simply enjoy the deck chairs with a glass of wine or a beer and yarn the evenings away! Please note this property is on drinkable tank water. It's an easy short walk to the local services including café, local grocery store, community hall and bowls club, gym equipped park and tennis court. This idyllic location is also close to the jetty for fishing or to launch your boat from the nearby boat ramp or beach. Other things to note There is a small, locked caravan on the property.
