The space is well considered and is perfect for couples, a family, or a getaway with friends. It is the perfect base to discover Launceston and Northern Tasmania.

Home on Hampden has been designed to be exactly that; an inviting and warm space that is north-facing and captures the sun year-round.

With a large entertainment area at the back of the house, we have created the ideal space to bring friends together to celebrate fresh, Tasmanian produce, delicious wine and a cheeky gin (or two). Allow the indoors to spill outside with the intimate front deck and use Home on Hampden as we have.

Experience the paradox of feeling like you're on the doorstep of inner-Launceston but being far enough away to escape the hustle.

Located on the city side of Launceston, we are just a few minute's walk from the Launceston General Hospital and the Charles Street café scene. 'Home on Hampden' is tucked away on a quiet street with a private oasis-like backyard.

We have one exclusive parking space available for guests. There are some all day parking spaces around the corner of the street and the rest of the street between 9-5 is 2hr parking. Hospital staff park regularly on the street, however we've never not been able to find a second park when needed. The nearest free Tiger bus can be caught from the Charles St Hospital bus stop and runs regularly and will take you into the city. A taxi from our home to the city centre is approximately $7.

The beds in room 3 are both King Singles. The second bed is a trundle and is available only on request. Please let us know at booking if you will require the trundle bed.

The home has a separate second toilet for your convenience.

Strict - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 14 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 14 days or less notice is given, the host retains 50% of the booking fee. If 7 days or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.
