About Diamond Waters Treehouse Retreat
Under the gaze of North Brother Mountain the Treehouse Retreat is set among the trees overlooking a vast expanse of wetlands with 400 metres of river frontage. It is a short walk to a white sands forever beach.
The Treehouses are designed on sustainability principles with locally crafted timberwork and high quality fittings and appliances. They are fully self contained with BBQs on a spacious deck.
Guests are provided with morning complimentary coffee in the Garden Coffee Bar set in our traditional gardens, and there is a vegetable garden to access greens and herbs.
There is a 70 metre wetland walkway with a bird hide to enjoy picnics and an afternoon wine, or two.
Despite the Treehouse being high in the air there is not one step to negotiate between the car park and the river.
The Treehouses were created to provide an income stream to enable the owners to progressively rehabilitate the 5 Ha property.
It is beautiful here!

Pets are not allowed
- Whilst the Treehouses are set apart it is expected that guests will respect the quiet enjoyment of others. Our night wildlife will appreciate you keeping night time lights and noise to a minimum. No food is to be given to the wildlife.
- We are subject to a Koala Plan of Management and our DA does not allow pets.
- If you have children you must realise we are a working rural property with dams, machinery, large trees, native animals and a river. Close supervision of children is important.
- Total occupants must not exceed 4. Addition fees apply for the 3rd and 4th occupant.
- No fish to be cleaned on or around the premises.
- No food or other items are to be thrown or disposed of from the balconies.
- NO SMOKING.
- There is a small outdoor camp fire site. However fires must not be lit without prior approval of the owners and definitely not in periods of fire lighting restrictions.
- No responsibility is taken for occupant/guest’s personal property left on the premises.
- Important Safety Notice: Guests, particularly those with children should be aware that the Treehouses are 4 metres above ground and in close proximity to waterways dams and a “working” rural property. The property is also home to a diverse range of native wildlife. Children will need to be closely supervised at all times and all guests should be mindful that there are a number of potential dangers.
Cancellation
Flexible - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 24 hours before their scheduled arrival date. If 24 hours or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.

Meet Your Host, Peter Johnson
Peter and Kerry, husband and wife, entered tourism in 2011 to generate income for the environmental regeneration of their 5 Ha property. Over the past 14 years they have overseen the transformation of the Retreat's river wetlands and littoral rainforest zones into an environmental wonderland and fauna habitat that is home to over 150 bird species.
The hosts have a passion for quality service recognised by 5/5 customer ratings, and several major tourism and sustainability awards.
