    Description

Celebrate connection and make memories in this lovingly restored worker’s cottage. Ideal for a family getaway or a weekend with friends, it’s the perfect combination of stylish elegance and a relaxed bohemian feel.

The fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the house - and the perfect place to plan your activities for the day. An open design connects the spacious living and dining rooms to the enclosed courtyard and garden. Three spacious queen bedrooms and the four-bed bunk room are thoughtfully outfitted with premium linens and mattresses. The neutral colour scheme and tasteful, bohemian style sets the scene for a tranquil, relaxed break. Built in the early 1900s, the cottage has been part of our family since 2003. The extension and restoration highlights the beauty of its heritage elements: polished Jarrah floorboards, stunning timber-lined walls, original fireplaces and views of Mamang-Koort (Princess Royal Harbour) and Kardarup (Mount Melville). Kardarup has been a traditional meeting site for Noongar people for generations.

We invite you to gather and connect with your nearest and dearest with that in mind.

If you smoke, please do so off the property and remove your rubbish. *EXTRA GUESTS: You’re welcome to invite friends over for a drink or a meal but there is to be no more than 8 people in the house at one time as this is the number we are licensed to host. Please let us know if you are having guests and keep the noise levels low. Please respect the neighbours by not playing music outside. If visitors stay the night, guests will be charged for extra bedding at a fee of $50 per person each night, as outlined in booking fees. You’re on holiday! If you are staying for a week or longer, or if you simply need fresh towels, additional linen can be supplied. *THE COTTAGE: The pond in the back garden is covered by a grill but is still a hazard for young children. Please always keep them supervised outdoors. You are welcome to use the BBQ, but please clean it after use. We try to keep the gas bottle full but please let us know if you run out and we will replace it. *TRASH DISPOSAL: Please separate waste and use the landfill, recycling and FOGO bins appropriately. We have three rubbish bins parked in the driveway. The small bin with the red lid is for landfill rubbish.
