The Vic – Spacious Converted Warehouse in Chippendale

Chippendale was recently voted number 7 in the top ‘coolest neighbourhoods in the world’ by Time Out. The Vic is located on City Road close to Sydney music institution -The Lansdowne. Toby’s Estate cafe is downstairs. It’s surprisingly quiet once inside for such a centrally located spot. As it’s an old warehouse conversion the building is quirky. You will need to climb 2 sets of stairs for access. Once inside you’ll have access to a bright and spacious apartment set over 2 levels. On entry level there’s a large open plan kitchen and dining area. I provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. This area features aircon for your comfort and a heater for cooler months. There’s an outside front facing balcony onto Victoria Park which gets direct sun during the day. If you need space from your group this is nice to sit out on at night if you enjoy the bustle of the City. Downstairs there are 2 bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower. Bath towels are provided. The larger bathroom also features a laundry with a washer and dryer for your use. The bedrooms are set to the back of the building with trees visible from the windows. They are calm and tranquil spaces. Each room has a comfortable new Queen size bed and luxury linen. There are large wardrobes for your items and ceiling fans for your comfort. Upstairs on the top level is a large lounge room with seating for up to 6 comfortably and a smart TV. This area also features air con and double ceiling fans based on your preference. There’s a seperate study area if you need to work whilst on your stay and an outdoor balcony with an impressive City skyline at night. Perfect for unwinding with a drink. We have a queen bed upstairs in our nook which is available upon request only. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this. We are a quiet and peaceful block and we respect our neighbours. We use Zero Co refill bottles to reduce waste and avoid disposal.

Security Deposit A refundable security deposit of $500 is required for all bookings. This amount will be fully refunded after your stay, provided there is no damage to the property, missing items, or excessive cleaning required. Sofa bed is available for a cost of $40 per night. This must be approved before booking. Events are not allowed. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are also prohibited. We have quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect my place.

Moderate - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 5 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 5 days or less notice is given, the host retains 50% of the full booking fee. If 24 hours or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.
