Just an 8-minute drive from Castlemaine and 18 minutes from Daylesford, the studio features a calming, modern interior palette designed to help you unwind and recharge away from the noise and pace of everyday life.

Guests consistently rave about the peaceful atmosphere—a tranquil retreat where you can wake to birdsong, relax in the shade with a book, or stargaze from your hammock. The king bed is known for its exceptional comfort, and thoughtful touches throughout the space offer a true home-away-from-home experience.

The studio is a cozy, open-plan space combining the living area, kitchen, bedroom, and study in one, with a separate bathroom. While ideal for a solo traveler or a couple, there’s also a sofa bed that can accommodate one adult or two small children.

Set approximately 30 metres from the main house, the studio is surrounded by gardens and farmland, with foliage offering privacy from neighbors. The entire property spans over 1.5 acres, giving you a peaceful pocket of space in a lightly populated rural area.

Please note the studio is best suited for one to two adults. The fold-out sofa bed can be prepared for an additional guest or small children for a $25 fee. While it's slightly smaller than a double, some guests may find it suitable for two.

You’ll have access to the full studio, surrounding garden space, a sitting area, and about a quarter-acre of land to enjoy the outdoors and fresh country air. Despite being so close to town, it feels wonderfully secluded.

Our friendly Labrador, Buddy, lives on the property and may wander over to say hello. He’s great with people, quiet and well-behaved. Please don’t feed him or let him inside the studio, and let us know if his presence is ever an issue.

Caretakers reside in separate accommodation about 60 metres behind the studio. Their space is fully private and won’t interfere with your stay or privacy.
