Set on the grounds of the beautiful Lauriston Hills Estate; a 104-acre working farm & vineyard, the Cottage at Honeysuckle Farm is a peaceful escape just over an hour from Melbourne. Tastefully restored while retaining its historic charm, this early 1900’s cottage sleeps up to 6 guests.

Situated just 10 mins from Kyneton, 15 mins from Trentham and 25 mins from Daylesford, it is the perfect base to explore all that the Macedon Ranges and Daylesford regions have to offer.

Every detail of the cottage has been conveniently restored with modern amenities, to ensure a private and restorative getaway.

KITCHEN

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create a culinary delight during your stay, if you wish; stocked with complimentary ingredients and cooking essentials, or you may wish to order from our wood-oven pizza menu, where they will be made fresh on site and delivered straight to your door – please let us know 24 hours prior to your stay if you would like to order them. Complimentary breakfast is also provided, with freshly-baked sourdough bread, free range eggs, milk, butter, locally sourced sparkling mineral water, T2 tea & a Nespresso coffee machine.

Also available are a variety of wonderful gourmet hampers from Daylesford Picnic Boxes. The special link for these will be sent to you with the welcome message in the week leading up to your stay in case you would like to order one.

BEDROOMS

Each of the 3 bedrooms feature queen beds with beautiful linen bedding, woollen blankets, feather down duvets, a pillow menu, heater and an electric blanket.

BATHROOM

The bathroom has been tastefully restored with an indulgent clawfoot bathtub and separate shower, with luxurious amenities provided for your stay. We highly recommend having a long, soaking bath as the water comes from a deep aquifer which runs 100m below the property and is full of minerals, giving a beautiful blue hue to the water.

OUTDOORS

Outside you will find a relaxing fire-pit area that overlooks the windmill field and across to the country landscape, a Weber BBQ and an outdoor dining setting for up to 6 guests. For the ultimate experience, bathe under the stars in our antique claw foot bath & rain shower – a truly magical experience!

Please take care when driving around the area at dawn or dusk, as there are a lot of kangaroos around, and they can be very unpredictable and change direction quickly. It is a wonderful experience, so slow down and take it all in.
