Please note that Mt Hay has a strict no smoking policy and is exclusively for the enjoyment of guests aged 18 and over. All cancellation requests must be in writing and an acknowledgement of cancellation issued. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit 50% of the total cost of your stay. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will require full payment of all booked accommodation. Whilst all attempts will be made to resell your room, you remain liable for the costs of your total accommodation booking.

Moderate - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 5 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 5 days or less notice is given, the host retains 50% of the full booking fee. If 24 hours or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.

We are Louise and Anthony and together we run Mt Hay Retreat. In 2011 we returned to the property that the family has owned since 1986. Leaving behind the anonymous world of big business to build a complimentary, sustainable future for this stunning 364-acre farm by building a luxury 5 star retreat, the income from which allows us to conserve this spectacular spot for generations to come. It is home to 2 generations, a working beef farm, protected remnant rainforest, and a truly tranquil spot!
