Book your retreat and stay in our Wombat Camp. Designed for twin-share accommodation, our newly designed cabin tents from HomeCamp provide the perfect balance of indoor outdoor living for a immersive sleep amongst the Australian bush. With mosquito netting and canvas doors on both sides of the tent, guest can enjoy a cool through breeze on those hot summer nights. Our Wombat Camp is our most secluded camp for the retreat guests seeking serenity on retreats. Guests can choose between a king bed setup for couples or single beds for friends. The tent includes, koala mattresses, The Sheet Society & Sheridan bedding, bath sheets, head touches and ambient lighting. Included in the Wombat stay is our communal bathroom, lounge, dining and kitchen area.

Wollemi Ridge Retreats was born from the shared dream of Chris and Sally Dulson Barnes, a husband-and-wife team with a deep love for nature and community. Sally’s connection to Bilpin runs deep—her family, the Powells, were among the first settlers to farm this land. Chris, with his passion for extreme outdoor sports and wild camping, and Sally, an artist at heart who loves bringing people together in beautiful spaces, found themselves inspired to create something special. Together, they envisioned a place where people could slow down, reconnect with nature, and find joy in the wild. With the support of the Bilpin community and their combined skills, they brought Wollemi Ridge Retreats to life—a unique escape that invites you to relax, recharge, and embrace the beauty of the Australian bush.
